MY WRITE EYE
IPHONOGRAPHY
“What are you doing? Can I see your business card?
Do you have a permit to take these pictures? If I see those pictures online,
I’ll come and get you, I know
how to find them…I’m calling the cops on you”
I’m quoting the owner of my day’s last historic
Motel shoot on Biscayne Boulevard.
He made a big deal out of nothing, his
wife and small kids came out to witness his “heroism”…
…At the end we both lost, I had to delete my photos so not to waste the rest of my day with bored cops, and the Motel’s owner the chance of me immortalizing his property before it’s turned into rubble.
TRIP WITH A VIEW
Starting to get too visual
iphone camera is my latest addiction
High taking and retouching pictures
Getting handy applications…then, in a blink of an eye
I’m hooked on flickr

HEAVENLY SONG
In a world of disasters
Poverty, hate death and sin…
Some are lucky enough to wake up
And want to sing.
Light shines, never fading
Crawling under the tightest, cheerless doors,
Eternal heaven light dances
Rocks, in the darkest cold floors.
Faith is the beat you wanna hear
Turn it up, sing out loud…
…Be a disciple, save a crowd.
Walking in distress, no matter how bad
Never helps, you’ll always be sad.
Look at the sky
Then go beyond
Follow the melody
Shake to the heavenly song.
MANGO MAMA
Had dinner last night with a
Local Restaurant critic. Very
Cool to talk with a foodie like
Myself. We covered many topics and I asked questions like what would she eat every day on a deserted Island that provided no food. “Creamed spinach” she answered while I confessed my preference for Ceviche Mixto .
We ate at Sra. Martinez, a famous Chef’s cutting edge
Tapas restaurant in Miami. My food celebrity friend had
Heirloom Tomatoes with Murcia al Vino capeberries, pedro Ximenez, Cerignola olives and
Poached egg with asparagus. We both shared Pimientas de Padron, Spanish shisito peppers, sea salt.
I went cholesterol all the way sampling
Roasted Bone marrow grape tomatoes, sherry vinegar, tomato marmalade and a superb fresh Sea Urchin
Sandwich a la plancha, soy-ginger butter.
Courtesy of the Chef we tried Galbi Pinchos
Korean style marinade, Kohlrabi slaw and an Expresso with coffee from India before calling it a night.
On my way home passed by McDonald’s…
…I like that too.
